CALIBRATION OF INDUSTRIAL PROCESS WEIGHING SYSTEMS

CALIBRATION OF INDUSTRIAL PROCESS WEIGHING SYSTEMS

DESCRIPTION

More recent technological advancements have resulted in digitally summed systems that operate somewhat
differently. In a digitally summed system, the individual load cell output is digitized, therefore providing a known or calibrated measurement of each vessel support point. This digitization can take place in either the load cell itself, or in a separate transmitter device. The output of each transducer is communicated on a simple local area network to a display or re-transmission device where the digital values are added or summed together.
